Shopping at Costco
From Diana Barrett
Shopping at Costco is one event I procrastinate. Once I’m there it usually feels okay, but beforehand it looms large in my mind, like the size of all their products! So after putting it off as long as I can, I find myself there at busy times with a long list.
One such trip, after making it past the electronics to the large aisle toward the back, I paused to look at my list. It was crowded and noisy and busy and full of ‘stuff’ and people and carts. But there was an anomaly halfway down the aisle—someone without a cart! I thought, “Who goes to Costco and doesn’t have a cart?” This idea was nuts to my mind. So I focused on this person and it was Narada, of course. He was wearing his familiar jeans, blue plaid shirt, hat, and glasses. The one item he had in his hand was a box of ‘otter pops’. All I could do was smile.
